About Your Hair

- Dandruff - To get out from under the snow and back to sunny days, mash up (10) aspirin tablets and add them to your favorite shampoo. Do this for several washings and see the results.

- Sudden Gray - If you have naturally dark hair and one of those unwelcome gray reminders appears, get out your mascara and brush away the years. This is just a convenience, not a long-term solution. If you overdo it you'll spend a fortune on mascara, and your head will look like you're wearing a giant eyebrow.

- Dark Roots - For the blondes and the light-toned among you, if your roots are beginning to draw attention to your hairline, try dusting a little makeup foundation along the edges. Your secret will keep until a stylist can squeeze you in.

- Extremely Dry Hair - There is a 3-step formula for helping Sahara Hair. 1 - Mix 3 teaspoons of olive oil, 2 teaspoons of honey, and 1 egg. 2 - Apply to wet hair for 5 to 10 minutes. 3 - Shampoo normally. No eggs or olive oil handy? Try equal parts honey and mayo in a bowl.

- Thin Hair Quick Fix - If thin hair with no body is your problem, add half-a-teaspoon of Jello powder to your shampoo as a thickener. Any flavor will do!

- Thin Hair Solution (Long Term) - Shorter layers and shorter styles give hair more volume. Adding lowlights and highlights will add dimension.

- Want Bouncy Hair - After shampooing and conditioning but before drying, put beer in a spray bottle and spritz lightly all over. Dry and style.

- Thick Hair Troubles - Try hair relaxers, texturizers, and a proper cut (check with your stylist). Don't resort to thinning out the growth because it will just get thicker at the scalp, and you don't want a beard under your hat!

- Want Healthy Hair? Many stylists have their own favorite way to impart luster and health. They range from wholemeal products to eggs, liver to salmon, Vitamin D and C, to carrots or green vegetables. We can't say which of those work best, but they all have a loyal following.

Want your nose to appear smaller? Just apply a slightly darker foundation on your nose, and apply your regular skin color foundation on the rest of your face... ..
